The European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) is a decentralised EU agency that provides operational and technical support, and training to the national authorities of EU countries. It replaced the former European Asylum Support Office (EASO) in January 2022 with a stronger mandate to help EU Member States implement EU law on international protection and drive greater convergence to asylum proceedings and reception conditions across Europe.
