The European Network on Statelessness (ENS) is a civil society alliance of over 180 organisations and individual experts in 41 countries. ENS connects stateless people, their communities, and organisations and experts from across Europe with a shared dedication to breaking the cycle of statelessness and realising everyone’s right to a nationality. We have a particular focus on ending childhood statelessness and advancing every child’s right to acquire a nationality, in line with international human rights standards. Through research, advocacy, capacity-building, and collaboration with partners across Europe, we work to ensure that no child grows up without a nationality. We aim to reach our goals by enabling collective action in three areas: law and policy development, awareness-raising, and capacity-building.
